Hao Zhang is currently a doctoral student at the Graduate School of East Asian Studies GEAS) at Freie Universitaet Berlin and active team member of the ERC project. Previously, she graduated with a BA in Political Science from Tongji University and an MA in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Her PhD project focuses on the relation between digital governance and civil society, looking at how citizens engage with digital platforms in China.
